These were produced by the Dutch company Rippen (primarily in the mid-20th century) and are highly sought after by collectors for their futuristic, "Space Age" aesthetic. Model 188, two pedals, and Featuring a high-end Renner Action. Originally built in the 1950's, recently reconditioned at Sonny's Pianos. This piano was owned by a celebrity and saw no playing time and served strictly as a statement piece. The hammers do not even have the beginnings of a groove. This piano is absolutely stunning. The aluminum body gives it a clear, crisp resonance, which when combined with the sublime richness and warmth of the Renner action, it results in a totally unique and desirable sounding piano- unlike any other piano in the world.
